The step effector smoothly interpolates any property from a start value to an end value across your entire clone group. Set opacity from 100 to 0 and your clones gradually fade out from first to last, creating the look of a directional dissolve. Apply it to scale and your clones shrink progressively into the distance. Add Controlled Chaos by offsetting position, rotation, scale, and opacity with seeded randomization across your clones. Combined with falloff, you can control where the fade begins, how sharp the transition is, and which direction it flows.
